Shipping Policy

At Sandgate Mowers, we want to ensure your equipment arrives in peak condition and ready to work. Due to the size, weight, and technical setup requirements of many of our products, we operate under the following shipping and collection guidelines.

1. Power Equipment & Heavy Machinery

All major power equipment (including but not limited to Zero-Turn mowers, ride-on mowers, and heavy-duty commercial gear) is sold on a "Click & Collect" basis.

  • In-Store Collection: These items must be collected from our dealership in Sandgate. This ensures we can perform a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), register your warranty, and provide a full safety briefing/demonstration before you take the unit home.

  • Shipping Exceptions: Shipping for heavy equipment is not available through the standard checkout process. If you require delivery of a major unit, you must contact us prior to purchase to discuss a custom freight agreement.

2. Parts and Small Accessories

Smaller items, such as hand tools, spare parts, and consumables, are eligible for standard shipping across Australia.

  • Carrier: We typically use Australia Post or reputable couriers.

  • Dispatch Time: Orders for in-stock parts are generally processed within 1–2 business days.

  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been dispatched.

3. Custom Shipping Agreements

If you have made a prior agreement with us to ship a piece of power equipment:

  • Freight Quotes: Shipping costs will be calculated manually based on your location and the required tail-lift or specialized transport services.

  • Delivery Access: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery site is accessible for large freight vehicles.

  • Transit Insurance: We recommend transit insurance for high-value machinery; please discuss this with our team during the quoting process.

4. Click & Collect Process

For all "In-Store Collection" orders:

  1. Place your order online.

  2. Wait for our "Ready for Collection" notification (usually via email or phone).

  3. Visit our Sandgate workshop during business hours. Please bring a copy of your order confirmation and a valid photo ID.

  4. Loading: Ensure you have an appropriate vehicle or trailer. Our staff can assist with loading, but securing the load is the responsibility of the vehicle operator.

5. Damaged or Missing Items

  • For Shipped Parts: Please inspect your package immediately upon arrival. Any damage or discrepancies must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt.

  • For Collected Units: Once a unit has been inspected and signed for at our shop, it is considered to be in good working order.
